How is the accommodation laid out at Cannington Grange?

Ground Floor

Enter through the imposing Gothic Victorian door of the Manor House and step upon the 'Palmerstone' centrepiece, with surrunding tiles of bespoke design created especially for the entrance vestibule, before entering 'Ruscombe Hall'. This Victorian reception room leads directly to 7 further spacious communal rooms including the ballroom, a dining room, kitchen, games room and very spacious, dual-aspect lounge with several comfortable sofas and chairs and 65" smart television which can be easily transported to any room. From here you can venture into the conservatory which overlooks the lake and one of the patio areas surrounding the property. The dining room is also dual aspect, overlooking the gardens to the back and lake to the side, and is perfect for intimate family dinners. For larger dining parties the ballroom is the the ideal place to dine and dance the night away. This function room has also has bespoke flooring created for this room. 5 wonderfully skilled craftsmen made 14,775 individually hand crafted pieces of oak and wenge and worked together at The Grange and like synchronised swimmers worked in tandem to lay each individual piece by eye alone - no rulers or pencils behind the ear! They then spent a week sanding the floor to perfect the finish before sealing the wood and leaving a stunning floor that would not look out of place at the Palace of Versailes. The space is even more stunning when one opens up the entire 40 foot 'wall' of 12 bi-fold doors, each of which has integral blinds, which lead directly on to the 100x40 ft patio overlookig the Victorian gardens - 3.5 acres surround the property and provides seating for everyone, whether on benches overooking the lake or enjoying lunch all togeter on the patio outside the ballroom. Guests are comfortably seated in our function room for weddings, corporate events or parties. Behind the function room is a games room, replete with a pool table of unusual design (high gloss white and grey felt), library area, television and sofas. the open passage way from here leads to the the cosy snug area with a (self-stock) bar.

Back in the main area of the house you will find a large, bright and well-equipped kitchen for guests' use, ideal for large groups enjoying time cooking together and a separate large area which our caterers (should you wish to enjoy the luxury of not cooking or washing up for a night or two!) use to ensure that the hard work is hidden from view and our guests are able to relax!
