Toad Hall occupies the oldest part of The Grange and was, we believe, originally constructed in the early 19th Century as a farmhouse or main barn. When the later Gothic Tower and adjoining Ruscombe Hall were added it was given a similar makeover - but does retain its original lofty feel.
It is one of our larger properties and can accomodate 8 adults in 4 bedrooms, plus cots if required.
On the ground floor is the seperate entrance hall, large and airy living room with 8 seater dining table, large farmhouse fitted kitchen with original quarry tiled floor, twin bedroom, bathroom and utility room with w.machine and tumble dryer.
The living room has a contemporary yet traditional feel, its a large room but still feels cosy, and the windows overlooking the garden make it especially light and airy.
On the first floor are the master bedroom with superkingsize 4 poster and large ensuite, further bedroom with superkingsize 4 poster and ensuite , and the final twin bedroom.
Toad Hall and Ruscombe Hall can, if required, share an internal access door - this would give combined accomodation for 18 people (very handy if you're bringing small children who need putting to bed so the adults can stay up late!). This access is from Ruscombe Halls upstairs landing and then through one of Toad Halls bedrooms.
